Set against the stunning backdrop of the Amalfi Coast, let Sorrento seduce you. The perfect place for a romantic and elegant wedding.

Luschious lemongroves, historic architecture, cobbled walkways lined with quaint shops, people watching at pavement cafes, gorgeous gastronomy, crystal blue water against sheer cliffs, views of Mount Vesuvius. Sorrento has a lot to offer the future bride and groom, with venues ranging from the unique and cosy to the grand and glitzy. There really is something for everyone.
Sorrento, the jewel in the Amalfi crown has plenty to offer. Its' excellent public transport links, lends itself as not only a perfect destination to explore but a stunning destination to marry and enjoy a memorable honeymoon; with Pompeii, Naples, Positano and Capri all within easy reach it is an ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy the sunshine post wedding. Or if you perhaps choose there are plenty of cafes to sit and watch the sunset with a limoncello in hand.
This friendly town although small offers so much to the prospective bride and groom and is not as expensive as one might think.
There are plenty of well known travel agents offering bargain price packages, however a good wedding planner in Sorrento is worth their weight in gold. In 2014 having married here myself, my husband and I could never have organised all the finer details from a distance and certainly not completed the paperwork, translated the ceremony and added our personal stamp without the experiencce of our fantastic wedding planner.
Luckily Cheryl Pagano owner of Bella Sposa was on hand to help us through the process from start to finish. Cheryl has lived in Sorrento for many years and her wealth of knowledge coupled with the relastionships she has built up with local businesses is part of the fantastic package she offers. Her professional and approachable manner is what sets her apart, she has a knack of making you feel at ease and taking away the stress that comes with planning the perfect fairytale wedding.
Cheryl has a fantastic way of getting to know the bride and groom to enable her to help create all the personal touches that reflect the ideas any couple may have.

Whether it is a traditional wedding you are looking for or something totally different Bella Sposa are happy to help you along the way.
In Sorrento you will find the Italians very warm and welcoming, they love nothing more than helping you celebrate your big day. I opted to follow a semi- traditional but non religious route, starting with the ceremony in a stunning medieval chapel to the beautiful sounds of the mandolin and guitar as I walked down the aisle. Then as with all weddings there were plenty of photo opportunities in some of the most impressive backdrops imaginable, you will be sure to get some amazing memories of your special day. Our photographer Alessio knew exactly how to get the best wedding shots and remained at our sides snapping away without intruding.
Following on with the traditional theme, my guests were treated to canapes and live music on the balcony in the sunshine at our beautiful hotel, whilst the bride and groom continued with a few photos in the local surorundings. We walked as a group along the fantastic cobbled streets, taking in the architecture before reaching our destination for the wedding breakfast was a traditional restaurant set in the lemongroves. We enjoyed a vast menu of fresh delights and the owners made our day very special. To finish our evening we went to a laid back venue, where against the cool breeze of the Tyrrhenian Sea the we had our first dance.
We could not have done all this without the planning and preparation of Cheryl at Bella Sposa. It really was a dream come true. We could not recommend Bella Sposa highly enough and the memories we have of our day will last a lifetime.
